The short story? I’ve been sick. I’m feeling better, Thanks! Now that I’m feeling more myself, I’ve started writing again.
And reading what I wrote in that last year or two while I was falling over that cliff.
— Ouch!
I’m not happy with what I see. I’ll be revising most of the stories that I posted here previously. When I do that I’ll be sorting them out by genre and passing them on to other pen names.
So don’t worry if you see stories start to disappear, and possibly reappear in another form under another name.
It’s intentional. You have probably just discovered a new pen name.
I’ve got a couple other projects that I’m working on as well.
First, I started a community for Discovery Writers. I’m working out how AI can help people find and write their stories. This is not about having AI write for you, but how to use AI to help you write your own story. It’s free, and if you consider yourself a discovery writer, or want to learn how to use AI to help you write without taking over your story, I’d like to invite you to join.
I’m also starting a small press to handle these pen names and maybe other writers as well (in a year or two, when or if I catch up on the unfinished work already in my “slush pile”).
Until then, I expect this newsletter will be less frequent, and may feature other writers more than myself. Some will be pen names, others will just be writers I have discovered and think are worth noticing.
Most of that will be shared on notes rather than by email. If you miss the fiction, I suggest you subscribe to some of the authors I’ll be sharing. If you have something you’d like me to share, feel free to tag me in your comments or DM me a link to the story.
